Medieval
General Aspects:
Patriarchal, conquerors, man-made laws, speaking, discipline, duality, antithesis
Description:
The TOWER is a man-made egocentric dilemma which comes about by relying on the mind alone. The TOWER of great strength enjoys the security of patriarchal construction. This trump, associated with religious and political attitudes of the Piscean Age, is founded on the illusions that humanity can reach enlightenment through institutions and sophisticated laws. This dependency cannot last; there must be change; the lightening flash strikes. The TOWER is shocked from top to bottom. Male and female natures are further separated and only the innocent babe waves unafraid when the blast hits.
Interpreted use:
There is a possibility of spiritual reawakening. Do not cry out if the reaction is violent. Return to a standing position. Breathe and follow the breath.
Reversed (card received upside down):
Imprisonment in a tower of the ego. Pride leads to a fall, revolution, or collapse.
